AWIS membership is open to all genders who are support equality for women in science, engineering, technology and math (STEM) fields. As a member of AWIS, you will receive access to the following resources:

At the local level, members of Greater Baltimore Chapter of AWIS can vote for our Executive Board and bylaws changes, have priority for joining Committees, and receive benefits at events! AWIS National sends 25% of your national dues to the chapter chosen by the member. Therefore, there is no additional cost to join AWIS Baltimore. Additionally, members of University of Maryland-Baltimore, Towson University, and University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) can join AWIS Baltimore for free! Student Membership: 

Any undergrad, graduate, or post-doc can receive full benefits at a discounted rate. (Proof of enrollment may be required.) $35 annual membership dues.

Early Career Membership: 

People in the first decade of their science careers, join AWIS to find mentors, make connections, and stay current on issues, events, and opportunities at the early career level. $59 annual membership dues.

Full Membership: 

AWIS talent development and knowledge programs, our peer mentoring community, and advocacy training gibe you a step up the career ladder as you build your leadership toolbox. $149 annual membership dues.

Institutional & Corporate Members:

Complimentary membership in AWIS are provided to specific organizations, universities, and corporations that have partnered with AWIS.

That's okay! Our events are not exclusive to members of AWIS Baltimore and we want to be a resource for ALL Baltimore women in STEM, regardless of membership status.
